The pattern for my giant C2C crochet panda wall hanging is now live in my Etsy shop.
It’s made using corner to corner crochet and I love the simplicity of the colours. I drew up this design from a photo of a real panda sticking out it’s tongue, I just thought it added something extra and I love the blue and pink alongside the black and white.
I used aran weight cotton yarn with a 4.5mm hook. You can of course use any type of yarn, obviously the thicker it is, the larger your finished piece will be.

The crochet panda wall hanging pattern comes with a colour block chart, row by row instructions, a graph chart and step by step instructions. As I say with all my patterns if you didn’t want to make a wall hanging then you could also use mini C2C and make a cushion or even make lots of squares and turn them into a blanket.
If you do make one then I would love to see it so don’t forget to tag me on Instagram (@discoslothdesigns) or use the hashtag #discoslothdesigns.
If you are new to corner to corner crochet and want something a bit simpler then my flamingo graph chart is great for beginners.
I also have a blog post full of corner to corner crochet resources so if you are new to it or looking for some tips on colour changing etc then it might be useful. You can find it here.
