C2C CROCHET WINTER BLANKET CAL (WEEK 6 FREE CHARTS)

by Jess

Here are the last four charts for the C2C winter blanket CAL! After this I like to border each square using a double crochet (UK terms), you can go round a few times to make the square bigger which will obviously in turn make your blanket bigger. Then it’s just a case of joining them together and adding the border. I will share mine here as soon as it’s done.

If you have missed previous weeks then you can find them here: WEEK 1WEEK 2WEEK 3WEEK 4 and WEEK 5.

This week’s graph charts consist of a clementine, a storm at sea, a polar bear and an iceburg.

If you don’t want to make a blanket then any of these designs can be used for smaller projects like wall hangings or cushion covers. Or someone tagged me in a post on Instagram this week of some dishcloths they had made, great idea!

I am using acrylic DK yarn with a 3.5 mm hook but you can use any thickness of yarn you like (and the hook to match). Also you can use cotton or any other type of yarn you prefer. Obviously the thicker the yarn, the larger the square will be.

If you are joining in and sharing on Instagram then don’t forget to tag me @discoslothdesigns and use the hashtag #c2cwinterblanketcal so I can see your work.
