Here is another set of 4 charts for my C2C winter blanket CAL, I am still finding it so much harder to think of ideas that for the summer one!
This week there is a butternut squash, a tree and a living room scene with open fire because winter to me is mainly sitting indoors and being cosy.
I am using acrylic DK yarn with a 3.5 mm hook but you can use any thickness of yarn you like (and the hook to match). Also you can use cotton or any other type of yarn you prefer. Obviously the thicker the yarn, the larger the square will be.
If you don’t want to make a blanket then any of these designs can be used for smaller projects like wall hangings or cushion covers. Or someone tagged me in a post on Instagram this week of some dishcloths they had made, great idea!
If you are joining in and sharing on Instagram then don’t forget to tag me @discoslothdesigns and use the hashtag #c2cwinterblanketcal so I can see your work.
Here is the living room scene.. Just in-case you can’t work out what it is, there is a fire, a window with curtains, a table and a mirror. I used metallic yarn for the mirror but that is optional. You can make the curtains, fireplace and walls any colour you like.
Here is the butternut squash..
Here is the tree..
